Country: Belgium
Established: The Order of the Crown (Ordre de la Couronne) was established by King Léopold II on 15 October 1897. In 1908 it was made a national decoration of Belgium, junior to the Order_of_Léopold and awarded for any service to the Belgian state.

The Order of the Crown is awarded in five classes, plus two palms and three medals:

Grand Cordon, the medal on a sash worn on the right shoulder with the star worn on the left chest
Grand Officer (Grand Officier), the star worn on the left chest
Commander (Commandeur), the medal worn on a necklet
Officer (Officier), the medal with ribbon (with rosette) worn on the left chest
Knight (Chevalier), the medal with ribbon worn on the left chest
Golden Palm, a wreath of golden palms medal with ribbon worn on the left chest
Silver Palm, a wreath of silver palms medal with ribbon worn on the left chest
Gold Medal with ribbon worn on the left chest
Silver Medal with ribbon worn on the left chest
Bronze Medal with ribbon worn on the left chest
