An apparatus for filling balloon or ballonet with air. Sometimes attached to the basket in flights.
Boche
A disparaging term for a German

That part of the aeroplane which accomodates the engine, pilot, passenger and probably the petrol and oil tanks
Bonnet
The appliance having the form of a parasol, which protects the valve of a spherical balloon against rain.
Bounce
The upward and forward movement of an aeroplane which has struck the ground without flattening out sufficiently
Brevet
A certificate showing that a pilot has passed certain elementary flying tests and my be considered a qualified pilot
