Commander (Commandeur)
Officer (Officier)
Knight (Chevalier)
Criteria: Order of Leopold

Bearing the motto of Belgium, "Union constitutes power", the Order of Leopold was conferred upon individuals who rendered notable service to the state or society. Military recipients received the Order of Leopold with crossed swords for valor on the battlefield.
