Médaille Militaire |
"Brilliant pilot, gifted with great qualities. He has never ceased to show his bravery and spirit for the four months he has been with the escadrille. He has often been hit by enemy fire while strafing enemy troops and during the course of his difficult daily combats. On 4 September 1918, he reported his fourth victory, gained by forcing an enemy scout to land in our lines. Three wounds. One citation." Médaille Militaire citation, 29 September 1918 |
