Military Merit Cross
During World War I, the Military Merit Cross (Militär Verdienstkreuz) was Prussia's highest award for non-commissioned officers. Often regarded as equivalent to the Blue Max for officers, it was bestowed upon enlisted personnel for bravery in combat.
