The son of William and Eleanor Blake, Arthur Winston Blake transferred to the Royal Flying Corps in August 1917 and was posted to 19 Squadron in 1918. He scored 5 victories flying the Sopwith Dolphin. Post-war he was killed in a flying accident whilst serving in the South African Air Force. |
