Sydney Leo George Pope was an officer cadet at Inns of Court; 2/Lt. Royal Flying Corps May, 1916; with 60 Squadron April, 1917 to Nov., 1917. Flying Nieuport Scouts and the S.E.5a, Pope scored 6 victories before he was wounded in action and forced down near St. Julien on 18 November 1917.
