FRENCH "ACE" DEAD
Leader of the "Stork" Squadron.
Paris, Oct. 5.
The "Petit Parisien" says that the aviator, Capt. Raymond, the leader of the famous "Stork" Squadron died yesterday morning at the fever hospital at Chalons-sur-Marne as the result of his aeroplane having crashed. Capt. Raymone had the reputation of being one of the best French squadron leaders. He succeeded Guynemer and Heurtaux, and had numberous victories to his credit. Capt. Raymond had only taken up flying since the war, and was a pupil of Major Brocard.— Reuter.
