Sidney Arthur William Knights served with the 13th Battalion of the York. and Lanc. Regiment before joining the Royal Flying Corps. Posted to 62 Squadron on 10 March 1918, he scored 8 victories as a Bristol F.2b observer with pilot George Gibbons. He was sent to hospital 10 July 1918.
