The son of George Farquhar, Robert Wallace Farquhar scored his first victory flying two-seaters with 18 Squadron. He scored five more victories flying SPADs with 23 Squadron. He was shot down on 23 June 1917 by Manfred von Richthofen, becoming the Red Baron's fifty-fourth victory. The following year, Farquhar was killed in action in a fight with Jasta 2. |
