Serving with the 75th Battalion of the Canadian Expeditionary Force, Harold Arthur Sydney Molyneux received a head wound in the Battle of Vimy Ridge on 9 April 1917. When he recovered, he transferred to the Royal Flying Corps and received his pilot's certificate in October 1917. As an S.E.5a pilot, he flew more than 70 sorties against the enemy and was credited with shooting down five Fokker D.VIIs. During World War II, Molyneux served with the Royal Canadian Air Force. |
