Before transferring to the Royal Flying Corps in 1917, Charles Duncan Bremner Green served with the 164th Battalion of the Canadian Expeditionary Force. Posted to 47 Squadron in Salonika on 27 January 1918, he claimed his first victory with B Flight before being reassigned to 150 Squadron. An S.E.5a pilot, he ended the war with 11 victories. As a Squadron Leader during World War II, he served as commanding officer of No. 5 Flight Training School at Brantford.
